Augusto Zampini

Augusto Zampini-Davies (July 25, 1969, Buenos Aires) is an Argentine Catholic priest. He studied law at the Universidad Católica Argentina and worked as a lawyer for banks and multinational companies. In 2004, he was ordained a priest. After studying moral theology, he obtained a master's degree in international development from the University of Bath, a PhD in theology from Roehampton University, London, and a post-doctorate in Cambridge. Since 2020, he has been Deputy Secretary of the Vatican's Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, which is chaired by Cardinal Peter Turkson.
