Bandipur Rural Municipality

Bandipur (Devanagari बन्दीपुर) is a hilltop settlement and a rural municipality in Tanahun District, (Gandaki province) of Nepal. Because of its preserved, old time cultural atmosphere, Bandipur has increasingly been coming to the attention of tourism. At the time of the 2011 Nepal census it had a population of total (Bandipur and Dharampani) 15,591 people living in 3750 individual households. Bandipur is famous for Newari people and their cultures.
