Baneheia murders

The Baneheia murders (Norwegian: Baneheia-drapene) was a double rape and murder that occurred in Norway on 19 May 2000. The victims were two girls, 10-year-old Lena Sløgedal Paulsen (born 14 May 1990) and 8-year-old Stine Sofie Sørstrønen (born 10 May 1992). They were found raped and killed in the Baneheia area in Kristiansand. Two men were convicted for the murders in 2001: Jan Helge Andersen (born 17 January 1981) and Viggo Kristiansen (born 24 May 1979).
