Bijar County

Bijar County (Kurdish: شارستانی بیجاڕ‎ Persian: شهرستان بیجار‎) is a county in Kordestan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Bijar. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 95,461, in 23,614 families. The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Chang Almas District, and Korani District. The county has five cities: Bijar, Babarashani, Tup Aghaj, Pir Taj and Yasukand.
