Boris Khanukov
Boris Khanukov, born 28 January 1939 in Kharkiv, is a Ukrainian-German chess player holding the title of International master. In the first years 1980 he graduated in technical sciences at the Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute. Thereafter he studied at the Chess school of the Palace of Pioneers of Kharkiv, directed by Aleksandr Mazkjevič. In the years 1990 he was a chess instructor at the same school; one of his pupils was Artiom Tsepotan, who later became an International master.
