Robert Brian Tate, FBA, FRHistS (27 December 1921 – 21 February 2011), commonly known by his middle name Brian, was a Northern Irish Hispanist and Renaissance scholar. He was the Professor of Hispanic Studies at the University of Nottingham from 1958 to 1983.
