Burlinsky District

Burlinsky District (Russian: Бурли́нский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifty-nine in Altai Krai, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the krai. The area of the district is 2,746 square kilometers (1,060 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Burla. Population: 12,042 (2010 Census); 15,005 (2002 Census); 16,419 (1989 Census). The population of Burla accounts for 35.7% of the district's total population.
