COVID-19 vaccination in Norway is an ongoing immunization campaign against severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), the virus that causes coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), in response to the ongoing pandemic in the country. 870,524 people has been vaccinated with the first doze and 296,458 fully vaccinated as of 17 April 2021; mostly elderly people, healthcare workers and younger people at risk. All of the 23 deaths with potential links to the vaccine reported as of the 14th January occurred among severely frail elderly people with serious diseases. However, a causality to vaccination could not have been linked.
