Campeonato de Portugal (league)

The Campeonato de Portugal (Portuguese for "Championship of Portugal") is the fourth-level football league in the Portuguese football league system. It is a professional national league organized by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF). The competition began in 2013 as the Campeonato Nacional de Seniores (Seniors National Championship), replacing both the Segunda Divisão and Terceira Divisão (the third and fourth tiers of the system, respectively). On 22 October 2015, the competition was renamed the Campeonato de Portugal, its current name.
