Carlos Fernandes (tennis)
Carlos Fernandes (born 6 February 1936) is a retired Brazilian tennis player. He had a good all-round game with excellent passing shots and moved fast around the court. Fernandes had a reputation for being a charismatic ladies man. He later became a coach. As Open tennis arrived, Fernandes was reaching the end of his career. He lost in round one of 1968 French Open to Bernard Montrenaud. At Wimbledon he lost in round one to Mike Sangster.
