Cerebrolysin

Cerebrolysin (developmental code name FPF-1070) is a mixture of peptides purified from pig brains, including (and not limited to) brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), glial cell line-derived neurotrophic factor (GDNF), nerve growth factor (NGF), and ciliary neurotrophic factor (CNTF). While cerebrolysin is used for stroke and vascular dementia, the evidence to support this use is weak. It is also sold as a nootropic.
