Charles R. Perry
Charles R. "Chuck" Perry (January 21, 1934 – May 10, 2005) was a Gainesville, Florida construction industry leader, philanthropist and businessman. He died of a heart attack in 2005 while on vacation in Dresden, Germany. In 1954 Perry left his home in Winter Park, Florida to attend the University of Florida. His college years were interrupted by his service in the United States Navy. In 1960 he earned a bachelor's degree in building construction from the University of Florida.
