Christine Taylor-Butler
Christine Taylor-Butler (born in the 1960s) is a children's book author in the United States. She has written more than 80 books including The Lost Tribe series. She has been an advocate for diversity in character representations and led by example. Taylor-Butler majored in civil engineering and architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1981. She has written nonfiction for Scholastic, including for their True Book educational series. She lives in Kansas City with her husband. She has two adult daughters.
