Cliff Evans (rugby league)

Clifford "Cliff" Evans (14 July 1913 – July 1982) was a Welsh professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s and 1940s, and coached in the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. He played at representative level for Wales, and at club level for Salford and Leeds, as a centre, stand-off, or scrum-half, i.e. number 3 or 4, 6 or 7, and coached at club level for Swinton, St. Helens and Salford.
