Darwinia pinifolia

Darwinia pinifolia is a plant in the myrtle family Myrtaceae, and is endemic to Western Australia. The shrub has a low spreading to prostrate habit and typically grows to height of 0.1 to 0.5 metres (0.3 to 1.6 ft). It blooms between September and February producing red to purple flowers. Often found in seasonally wet places and areas along the coast of the southern Wheatbelt and Swan Coastal Plain it grows in sandy soils.
