Delphus

In Greek mythology, Delphus (/ˈdɛlfəs/; Ancient Greek: Δέλφος, Delphos) was the person from whom the town of Delphi was believed to have derived its name. In one tradition, he was the son of Poseidon and Melantho, a daughter of Deucalion.
