Andhra Pradesh is one of the southern state of Indian sub continent. There are a total of 13 districts in the two regions of Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema. The capital of the state is the Amaravati alongside, Hyderabad being the joint capital of both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for 10 years from the date 2 June 2014. Literacy rate in 2011 was 67.77% as against 60.47% recorded in 2001 census. It is an increase of 7.19%. The official language of the state is Telugu.
