Donal Carey

Donal Carey (born 15 October 1937) is a former Irish Fine Gael politician who served as Minister of State for the Gaeltacht and the Islands from 1995 to 1997. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Clare constituency from 1982 to 2002. He also served as a Senator for the Labour Panel from 1981 to 1982. On 27 January 1995, he became a Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach and Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht in the Bruton Government, holding the posts until the change of government in 1997.
