Donald Cox

Donald C. Cox (born November 22, 1937) is an electrical engineer researching wireless communication, currently a professor at University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he heads the Wireless Communications Research Group. His work on multipath and other radio propagation problems has been fundamental to the development of mobile phone technology. Cox was elected a member of the National Academy of Engineering in 1994 for research and leadership in wireless personal communications technologies and systems.
