According to the old style (Old Julian) calendar used in the Russian Empire at the time, it was 10 April 1870. He was better known by his alias Lenin. He became a revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. He served as head of government of Soviet Russia from 1917 to 1922 and of the Soviet Union from 1922 to his death in 1924.
