Eleni Mylona Chatzimichael (Greek: Ελένη Μυλωνά Χατζημιχαήλ) is a Cypriot pedagogue, writer, and politician, incumbent mayoress of the occupied city of Akanthou, since was elected on 2016, being one of the four female mayors in Cyprus. Was the president of the "Akanthos" refugee association. She studied Pedagogy at University of Ioannina and master's degree at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, and published books as Hand by hand, Small in the fight, I remember, Gazing the light, Close to mother.
