Emmanuel Church, Woodley

Emmanuel Church, Woodley, is an Anglican church in Woodley, close to Reading in the English county of Berkshire. It is a Church of England church in the Reading Deanery of the Diocese of Oxford. The church was planted in 1991 by a group of people from St John's and Churches led by Church Army evangelists Richard and Mandy Priestley. Ian Watson was the Vicar for Woodley at this time. The change of parish also brought about a change of status for Emmanuel Church, which became a Conventional District in the parish of Southlake and now has its own Parochial Church Council.
