The Enyalius genus is mostly insectivorous (meaning they eat insects and other invertebrates), diurnal (active during the day), and inhabits trees. There are currently ten known species of this genus: E. brasiliensis, E. boulengeri, E. iheringii, E. perditus, E. pictus, E. erythroceneus, E. leechii, E. catenatus, E. bibronii, and E. bilineatus.
