Ferdinand A. Silcox

Ferdinand A. Silcox was the fifth Chief of the United States Forest Service (USFS) of the Department of Agriculture, and was appointed on November 15, 1933, succeeding Robert Y. Stuart. He served as Chief until his death on December 20, 1939.
