Fred Haefliger
Fred Haefliger (October 23, 1892 – January 7, 1988) served in the United States Marine Corps during World War I. He received the Distinguished Service Cross and Navy Cross. Haefliger was born in Mount Vernon, Wisconsin. After serving in the U.S. Marine Corps in the First World War, he married Dena Johnson (1891–1986) in 1920. He farmed in Clinton, Wisconsin from 1930 to 1982. He died in Barron, Wisconsin.
