Fred McKenna

Fred McKenna (February 17, 1934 – November 18, 1977) was a Canadian singer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. McKenna, who was born blind, recorded, produced, and released songs for the Rodeo, Boot, RCA and Arc record labels, and appeared on radio shows and television programs such as CBC's Singalong Jubilee. He worked with Stompin' Tom Connors, George Beck, Don Messer, Vic Mullen, George Hamilton and Angus Walker, among others. McKenna is an inductee of both The Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame and The New Brunswick Country Music Hall of Fame.
