General Commission for Audiovisual Media

The General Commission for Audiovisual Media (GCAM; Arabic: الهيئة العامة للإعلام المرئي والمسموع‎, romanized: al-Hy'eh al'Amah lel-E'elam al-Mar'ey wal-Masmoo') is a government organization in Saudi Arabia was founded in 2012 and responsible for the development, regulation, and supervision of audio-visual media transmission and content within the country. GCAM reports to the Ministry of Media and is independent in terms of finance and administration. Esra Assery is currently appointed as CEO of the General Commission for Audiovisual Media.
