George F. Hunt
George Frederick Hunt (August 24, 1831 – December 10, 1888) was an American physician and politician. Born in Nichols, Tioga County, New York, Hunt graduated from the College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City in 1856. He moved to West Bend, Wisconsin in 1856 and practiced medicine. Hunt served as pension-surgeon during the American Civil War in 1865 and 1865. He served as postmaster for West Bend, Wisconsin. In 1879 and 1880, Hunt served as president of the village of West Bend. In 182 and 1883, Hunt served in the Wisconsin State Senate and was a Democrat. He was also a Republican. Hunt died in West Bend, Wisconsin after suffering a stroke.
