Graphania lithias

Graphania lithias is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1887 from specimens collected at Castle Hill near Christchurch and named Mamestra lithias. It is endemic to New Zealand. In 2019 published a paper in which he undertook a major review of New Zealand noctuids. Hoare, having inspected the type material of this species, placed it within the genus Ichneutica.
