Guruvayur Valiya Keshavan

Gajaratnam Guruvayur Valiya Keshavan (c. 1969 — 29 March 2021) was an elephant owned by the Guruvayur Krishna Temple, that owns the largest number of captive elephants in Kerala. Following the death of Guruvayur Padmanabhan in 2020, Valiya Keshavan became the chief of the elephants in Guruvayur temple. With an height of 308 cm, he was one of the tallest elephants in Kerala and was the tallest among the elephants owned by Guruvayur temple. Valiya Keshavan died on 29 March 2021, after suffering from several health related problems.
