Hall Hammond
Hall Hammond (May 18, 1902 – November 27, 1991) was an American jurist and politician who served as Chief Judge of the Court of Appeals and Attorney General for the state of Maryland. Hammond was born in Baltimore, Maryland to William S. Hammond and Rosalie Hall Hammond. He received his early education from the Gilman School, the Jefferson School, and Baltimore City College. He received his A.B. degree from Johns Hopkins University in 1923, and his LL.B. degree in 1925 from the University of Maryland School of Law. He married Elizabeth Ashton Luck in 1934.
