Harold Sutcliffe
Sir Harold Sutcliffe (11 December 1897 – 20 January 1958) was a British Conservative Party politician and businessman. Born in Yorkshire, he was educated at Harrow and then Oriel College, Oxford. During the First World War he served in the Royal Field Artillery and in 1925 was called to the Bar at Inner Temple. He married Theodora Cochrane in 1926 and they had four children. One son, John, later became a Member of Parliament.
