The Indigenous Ketagalan Boulevard protest are an ongoing protest which started on Ketagalan Boulevard in Taipei City by Taiwanese indigenous peoples starting in February 2017 asking for more official recognition of its land as traditional territories, in particular for the possibility of private land to also be designated as an indigenous territory, which were disallowed by regulations brought forward that same month by the governmental Council of Indigenous Peoples.
