Inside Information Stakes

The Inside Information Stakes is an American Thoroughbred horse race run annually at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Florida. A Grade II event, it is open to fillies and mares age four-years-old and up, willing to race seven furlongs on the dirt. The race currently offers a purse of US$200,000. Known as the Shirley Jones Handicap until 2009, it was renamed for the racing mare Inside Information, winner of the 1995 Breeders' Cup Distaff who was voted that year's American Champion Older Female Horse. In 1983, the race was run in two divisions.
