James Peachey, 1st Baron Selsey

James Peachey, 1st Baron Selsey (8 March 1723 – 1 February 1808), known as Sir James Peachey, Bt, between 1765 and 1794, was a British politician and courtier. Peachey was a younger son of Sir John Peachey, 2nd Baronet. In 1765 he succeeded his elder brother as the 4th baronet. He died in 1808, aged 84. Lord Selsey had married Lady Georgiana Caroline Scott, daughter of and Henry Scott, 1st Earl of Deloraine, in 1747. He was succeeded in his titles by his son, John. Lady Selsey died at Berkeley Square, London, in October 1809, aged 82.
