Jeevan Pramaan
Jeevan Pramaan is an Indian Aadhaar based digital life certificate for pensioners. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 10 November 2014. It is expected to benefit over a crore (10 million) pensioners who receive pensions from central or state governments or other government organisations. Jeevan Pramaan will make the requirement for a pensioner obsolete submitting a physical life certificate in November each year to ensure continuity of pension being credited into their account. Jeevan Pramaan has been developed by the Department of Electronics and IT, Government of India.
