José Louzeiro
José de Jesus Louzeiro (September 19, 1932 – December 29, 2017) was a Brazilian novelist, screenwriter and reporter. Louzeiro was born in São Luís. He started working in 1948 as an intern at the newspaper O Imparcial. In 1953, when he was 21 years old, he moved to Rio de Janeiro where he worked on the magazine A Revista da Semana and O Jornal. Louzeiro also wrote for the newspapers Diário Carioca, Última Hora, Correio da Manhã, Folha and Diário do Grande ABC, as well for the magazine Manchete.
