Joseph Godbout

Joseph Godbout (May 12, 1850 – April 1, 1923) was a physician and political figure in Quebec. He represented Beauce in the House of Commons of Canada from 1887 to 1901 as an independent Liberal and then Liberal member. He sat for La Salle division in the Senate of Canada from 1901 to 1923. His step-grandson Gaspard Fauteux also served as a member of the House of Commons.
