Jurgów

Jurgów (Polish: [ˈjurguf]; Slovak: Jurgov, Hungarian: Szepesgyörke, German: Jurkau or Joerg) is a small village (c. 900 inhabitants) in the Spisz region of southern Poland, near the border with Slovakia and the town of Bukowina Tatrzańska, on the Białka river. It lies approximately 2 kilometres (1 mi) east of Bukowina Tatrzańska, 15 km (9 mi) north-east of Zakopane, and 81 km (50 mi) south of the regional capital Kraków.
