K. S. Amur
Krishna Shyamacharya Amur (born 1931) a professor emeritus of mathematics in differential geometry was head of the department of mathematics, Karnatak University, Dharwar. Amur is the founder member of the Sri Aurobindo Society in Dharwar (1992) of Karnataka State and the vice-president of Karnatak Education Board, Dharwar. Amur is the younger brother of G. S. Amur a leading contemporary writer and critic in Kannada and English. Amur has been working as the president of Sri Aurobindo society, Karnataka State.
