Kami District, Miyagi

Kami (加美郡, Kami-gun) is a rural district in Miyagi Prefecture, in the Tōhoku region of northern Japan. At present, the district consists only of the towns of Kami and Shikama with a combined population (As of 2017) of 30.197 people, a population density of 53 people per km2 and an area of 569.905 square kilometres (220.042 sq mi).
