Kuźnica (Polish: [kuʑˈɲit͡sa]; Belarusian: Кузніца), formerly Kuźnica Białostocka, is a village in Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland, close to the border with Belarus. It is the seat of the gmina (administrative district) called Gmina Kuźnica. It lies approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) north-east of Sokółka and 54 km (34 mi) north-east of the regional capital Białystok. The village has a population of 1,740.
