Lee Bales

Wesley Owen "Lee" Bales (born December 4, 1944) is an American former professional baseball player, a second baseman whose six-season (1963–1968) career included 31 games played for the 1966 Atlanta Braves and the 1967 Houston Astros of Major League Baseball. A switch-hitter who threw right-handed, he stood 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) and weighed 165 pounds (75 kg). Bales was born in Los Angeles, California. The Braves signed him as a free agent in 1963. He graduated from Norwalk High School and attended Cerritos College and California State University, Long Beach.
