Magydus

Magydus (Ancient Greek: Μάγυδος, romanized: Magydos) was an settlement and bishopric of ancient Pamphylia on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Asia Minor (Asian Turkey), which remains a Latin Catholic titular see. It is probably the same as Mygdale (Μυγδάλη) described in the Stadiasmus Maris Magni. Its site was probably at modern Lara (Antalya province), where there are ruins of a small artificial harbour.
