Marisa Aragón

María Alfonsa Aragón Pallarés (29 Nov 1944 – 10 May 2021) was a Spanish lawyer and judge. Born in the city of Lorca (Murcia), she was the first woman to serve as a judge in Spain between 1972 and 1976. She was also a pioneer by opening a law firm, Aragon Abogados in Lorca, which is still open and now run by her son, Ángel García Aragón. In 1967, at the age of 23, she graduated in Law from the University of Zaragoza.After being appointed a Municipal Court Judge, in 1973 she served as Judge of First Instance and Examining Magistrate, at the time of the tremendous floods in Lorca.
