Matt Gogel
Matthew John Gogel (born February 9, 1971) is an American professional golfer and golf commentator who has played on the PGA Tour and the Nationwide Tour. Gogel was born in Denver, Colorado and grew up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he attended Bishop Kelley High School. He has lived most of his adult life in Kansas. He attended the University of Kansas, and was a member of the golf team. He turned pro in 1994 and joined the PGA Tour in 2000. After losing his tour card in 2006, Gogel announced an intention to retire after the 2007 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. He lives in Mission Hills, Kansas.
