Mike Hindert

Michael "Dirt" Hindert (born August 8, 1980) is an American musician. He was the bass guitarist of the New York rock/electronica band The Bravery. He is currently the bassist of Gone Sugar Die. Hindert grew up in Falls Church, Virginia. He is a guitar player and ukulele lover who learned the bass guitar to join the Bravery, a multi-instrumentalist. Before the band took off, Hindert worked as a waiter and delivery boy on St. Marks' "Yaffa Cafe". He frequently wore distinctive eyeshadow, a rock and roll styled pompador and a retro 1960s-styled wardrobe.
