Miron Vovsi
Miron Vovsi (Russian: Мирон Семёнович Вовси; May 13, 1897 in Krāslava, Vitebsk Governorate, Russian Empire, now Latvia – June 6, 1960 in Moscow, Russia) was a physician of the Soviet Union and a victim of the fabricated (and antisemitic) Doctors' Plot leading to his arrest and imprisonment. Along with scientific activity (he was elected a member of USSR Academy of Medical Sciences) Vovsi had a lot of practice as a therapist and became famous in this quality.
