Mohammed Odeh

Mohammed Saddiq Odeh (born 1 March 1965) is a Palestinian freedom fighter and one of the four former al-Qaeda members sentenced in October 2001 to life imprisonment for their parts in the US embassy bombings in Kenya and Tanzania on August 7, 1998, in which 224 people died and about 4,500 were injured. The other accused convicted for the bombings were Mohamed Rashed Daoud Al-Owhali, Khalfan Khamis Mohamed and Wadih el Hage. Another defendant, Ali Mohamed, pleaded guilty the previous year. Another, , was awaiting trial, and three additional defendants were fighting extradition in England.
