Mount Angel Abbey

Mount Angel Abbey is a Roman Catholic monastery of Benedictine monks in St. Benedict, Oregon, United States. It was established in 1882 from Engelberg Abbey, Switzerland. The abbey, located on the top of Mount Angel, a 485-foot-high butte (148 m), has its own post office separate from the city of Mt. Angel. As of 2020, the abbey is home to approximately 49 monks.
